The Universal Constant in Living is the final book by F. Matthias Alexander, the founder of the Alexander Technique, published in 1941-1946. In this mature work, Alexander argues for a holistic approach to life, warning against separation in thought and action and promoting his technique as a path to freedom and well-being through understanding fundamental principles of living and the "primary control" of the body.
