Elisabeth Severs served at the Organizing Secretary of the Theosophical Society of England. Her book is deeply rooted in late 19th and early 20th century esoteric philosophy and occultism. It consists in a series of studies exploring love in its multifaceted aspects, each case study draws out the meaning of love as illustrated in a particular life situation. The book is extremely rare, having only ever been published once, with a small print run.⁣
